This special event offered guests an immersive dining experience, showcasing a curated selection of culinary delights where each dish told a unique story from Hotel Tentrem Jakarta’s signature restaurants. Crafted with a warm and intimate atmosphere, the event created memorable moments, leaving lasting impressions on the guests’ palates and in their hearts.
The journey began at Populico, the American Bistro on the first floor, with an engaging Barista TakeOver session led by Ega Riandi, winner of the 2024 Indonesia Coffee Art Battle. Guests had the chance to savor three creative drink offerings, perfectly paired with indulgent desserts by Executive Pastry Chef Aditya Nugroho. Chef Aditya introduced fusion desserts that combined a modern touch with local Indonesian flavors: Onde-Onde Pandan Gelato, Truffle Choux, and Hazelnut Cigar. With their unique presentation and distinctly Indonesian sweetness, these desserts were a true nod to the country’s rich cultural heritage.
The journey continued on the second floor at LIN 林 Chinese Restaurant, where Chinese Head Chef Albert “Liew Ban Foh” introduced signature Chinese dishes. Adding to the experience, guests explored the art of Chinese calligraphy, blending the worlds of culture and cuisine in a fun, unforgettable way. A tea tasting session with Tema Tea was another highlight, paired with savory bites like Peking Duck and Salted Egg Crispy Fish Skin, which left a delightful impression on guests.
The journey concluded on the sixth floor at Restaurant Kayu Manis and Canella, where guests enjoyed a range of carefully prepared dishes. The night’s highlight was the official launch of Canella, Hotel Tentrem Jakarta’s newest restaurant, open from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Sous Chef Ruly Mandala and Executive Chef Ivan Leonard hosted an Italian-inspired live cooking show, giving guests a closer look at Italian classics like Caesar Wedges, Salmon Crudo, Pasta Cartoccio, Secondi Branzino, Lamb A’la Romana, Pizza Bresaola, Smoked Salmon, and delicious desserts such as Tableside Tiramisu and Lemon Ricotta Cheesecake.
